[Mahoushou☆ghost] MEISHI SMILE - LUST (2014)

Illustrations/Title cards for the tracks of Meishi Smile’s album LUST

LUST sets out to explore the cycle of human heartbreak. An existential question of what it means to feel guilt, love and loss. A sentimental, yet obsessively sad piece of work that struggles to find acceptance and redemption throughout its own realized chaos.

The style of my Mahoushou☆ghost project was used to illustrate the songs, in which it’s a bit messy & childish, but also dark – which love can be too.
